The Rio Grande County Assessor’s Office is seeking an Appraiser Trainer.
Work Location is the Rio Grande County Assessor’s Office, Rio Grande County Courthouse, Del Norte, CO. Starting wage is $18.89 per hour & full benefits for an unlicensed Appraiser Trainee or $23.10 per hour & full benefits for a licensed Appraiser Trainee. This full-time (40 hours per week, M-F) performs residential, mobile home, and agricultural building appraisals to ensure proper generation of property taxes for ad valorem purposes. High school diploma, or GED; 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Good typing skills, computer skills, and a valid Colorado driver’s license are also required. Must obtain licensing within two years of employment if not already licensed.
