EFCN - Public Notice Workshop
The Environmental Finance Center Network is offering free training for Colorado drinking water operators and staff. The training will provide water sector personnel with tools and knowledge they need to notify the public when there is an issue with their drinking water supply. Participants will be able to use the skills they acquire in this training to successfully follow Colorado’s public health notice requirements and keep their communities informed about the safety of their drinking water.

Colorado operators will earn up to .3 free Training Units (TUs)
The training will cover:
- How to use the public notice generator tool
- Integrating asset management into public notification processes
- Exploring the requirements of each public notice tier
- 10 requirements of public notice
- Activity to generate a mock public notice for various situations
Who should attend:
Public drinking water system operators, operators in responsible charge, administrative staff, decision makers, elected water officials.
