Job Description Courthouse Security Deputy

The Courthouse Security Deputy position is now open for applications at the Rio Grande County Sheriff's Office. As a Courthouse Security Deputy, your duties will include ensuring order and safety for judges, jurors, prisoners, court personnel, and the public. To qualify, you must be at least 21 years old, possess a High School Degree or GED, and have a valid Colorado driver's license. You should also be able to maintain confidentiality of operations and information obtained during your duties. A current first aid/CPR certification is required or should be obtained within three months of employment. The pay range for this position is $17.86-$18.57, depending on experience, and will increase in 2024.
